Therapy/Class: Corticosteroid
Mechanism of Action:
Prednisolone: A standard-of-care topical corticosteroid that binds to intracellular glucocorticoid receptors, modulating DNA transcription to inhibit edema, fibrin deposition, capillary dilation, leukocyte migration, and phagocytic activity associated with acute ocular inflammation.
Indications
Treatment of steroid-responsive ocular inflammatory conditions
Management of post-surgical ocular inflammation and edema

Dosage & Administration
Instill 1 drop into the inferior conjunctival cul-de-sac of the affected eye(s) as prescribed by the physician. Dosing frequency should be adjusted according to clinical response and severity.
