Composition: Brimonidine Tartrate 0.2% w/v + Timolol Maleate 0.5% w/v
Formulation: Eye Drops
Category: Anti-Glaucoma
Packaging: 5ML

Therapy/Class: Anti-Glaucoma
Mechanism of Action:
Brimonidine Tartrate: A highly selective alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonist. It lowers intraocular pressure through a dual mechanism: actively suppressing aqueous humor production from the ciliary body and enhancing uveoscleral outflow pathways.
Timolol Maleate: A non-selective beta-1 and beta-2 adrenergic receptor antagonist lacking significant intrinsic sympathomimetic or membrane-stabilizing activity. It reliably decreases intraocular pressure by fundamentally reducing aqueous humor synthesis in the ciliary processes.
Reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma
Management of ocular hypertension
