Mechanism of Action:
Alcaftadine: A robust inverse agonist with broad-spectrum affinity for H1, H2, and H4 histamine receptors. By acting on the H4 receptor, it specifically prevents eosinophil recruitment and actively stabilizes tight junction proteins (ZO-1) in the conjunctival epithelium, reducing allergen penetration.
Indications
Relief of ocular itching associated with allergic conjunctivitis
Management of ocular allergy symptoms

Dosage & Administration
Instill 1 drop into the inferior conjunctival cul-de-sac of the affected eye(s) as prescribed by the physician. Dosing frequency should be adjusted according to clinical response and severity.
