Therapy/Class: Antifungal
Mechanism of Action:
Natamycin: A tetraene polyene antifungal that directly binds to sterol moieties (ergosterol) within the fungal cell membrane, altering permeability and resulting in the depletion of essential intracellular constituents. It is a first-line treatment for filamentous fungal keratitis.
Indications
Clinical management of specific, indicated ophthalmic pathologies based on molecular affinity

Dosage & Administration
Instill 1 drop into the inferior conjunctival cul-de-sac of the affected eye(s) as prescribed by the physician. Dosing frequency should be adjusted according to clinical response and severity.
